As the Digital DJ era vastly approaches, Aboutdj.nl, one of the largest Dutch DJ information and communication sites organized the Digital DJ Day in club STORM in Utrecht this past December 1st to debut the best Digital DJ products on the market.

The highlight of the day was when Match AV., Cortex's distributor in The Netherlands unveiled the DJ Industry's first standard sized tabletop Professional USB-compatible Digital Music Turntable, the Cortex HDTT-5000. Attendee's raved about how the HDTT-5000 puts state-of-the-art power into the hands of professional club DJ's and turntablists to cue, play, pitch, loop, sample and even scratch MP3 and .WAV files in a similar tactile interface to a traditional vinyl turntable!

"Not only does the HDTT-5000 look and sound like you're spinning on real vinyl, but it actually feels like it to!" one attendee boasted.

Scheduled to be on the market in late December, these units are destined to become the industry standard tabletop.
