Cortex Rocks the House in Finland and Holland

EDISON, NJ - April 18, 2007 - Over 1,000 of Finland's premier DJ's, musicians and club enthusiasts recently gathered at the 2007 Millennium Flashback event held at Club bo Diskotek Turku to witness first hand what's been taking the DJ industry by storm.  Easily exceeding expectations from industry and DJ's alike, Cortex (a part of GCI-Technologies) proudly displayed their revolutionary line of patent-pending USB host-controller based digital music controllers, as Cortex product videos ran on huge video screens throughout the night.                                                      

 

The groundbreaking HDC-1000 Dual Digital Music Controller, the first of Cortex's three digital music controllers under Cortex, "was a real DJ catcher", raved Erkki Tuominem of AV-Tech, Cortex's Finnish distributor.

                 
                         

Quickly making a name for itself internationally, the HDC-1000 was also recently showcased at the renowned Amsterdam Car Show in Holland, where it was exhibited at the MINI Cooper stand, the only booth at the show with a DJ performing!

                                    

Cortex's patent-pending 'intelligent music database management' system enables DJ's to access, cue up, play, scratch, pitch, manipulate and search digital music files from a wide array of storage devices (up to 4 with an external USB hub) including the iPod®, external USB hard-drives and flash drives, CD-ROM and even DVD-ROM drives.
