New Features & Improvements

Maintaining the spirit of innovation, Cortex is continuing to develop the HDC-1000 dual digital music controller by responding to the marketplace's demands for adding new, improved features and functionality to this groundbreaking digital music product.

Below are a list of features and improvements currently in development to add to the HDC-1000 and a tentative date each feature is projected to be complete. As soon as each becomes available, a new update will be released on the HDC-1000 Software Updates page of the Cortex website. Check back for additions to this list of new features and update availability.



June 2007
Waveform Display Mode
Via the Cortex database software, available FREE from the Cortex website, HDC-1000 users will be able to create a waveform of each song on their USB storage device which can then be optionally selected to be displayed on the HDC-1000's LCD screen.

Seamless Loop Feature
HDC-1000 users will now be able to seamlessly loop their favorite parts of a song with the touch of a button for more creative mixing possibilities.

August 2007
On-The-Fly Playlists
HDC-1000 users will be able to create playlists 'on-the'fly' using the HDC-1000 unit and save them to a connected USB storage device.
